Description:
It is an integrated serial input/output common cathode display driver. It connects the microprocessor with the 8 digit number of 7 digital LED displays, and can also connect to the bar graph display or 64 independent LED.
It includes a B type BCD encoder on a chip, a multiple scan circuit, a segment drive, and a 8*8 static RAM used to store each data. Only one external register is used to set the segment current of each LED.
A convenient four line serial interface can connect all the general-purpose microprocessors. Each data can be addressed without rewriting all the displays during the update. Also allows users to select or not code for each data.
The whole device contains a 150 A low power shutdown mode, analog and digital brightness control, a scan limit register allows users to display 1-8 bit data, and a detection mode that allows all LED to be luminous. Only 3 IO ports will be required to drive the 1 dot matrix. There is no flicker when the dot matrix is displayed. Support cascading.
Parameters:
1>. A single module can drive a 8*8 common dot matrix.
2>. Working voltage: 5V.
3>. Size: 12.8 cm X width 3.2 cm X height 1.3 cm.
4>. With 64 fixed screw holes, aperture 3mm.
5>. Module with input and output interface to support multiple modules cascading.
Wiring instructions:
1>. The left side of the module is the input port and the right is the output port.
2>. When controlling a single module, you only need to connect the input port to the CPU.
3>. When multiple modules are cascaded, the input ends of the first modules are connected to CPU, and the output ends are connected to the input ends of second modules. The output ends of the second modules are connected to the input ends of third modules, and so on.
Take 51 MCU as an example:
VCC - 5V
GND - GND
DIN - P2.2
CS - P2.1
CLK - P2.0
