Instruction:
RJ45 waterproof Ethernet LAN cable coupler compatible with CAT 5, CAT 5E, CAT 6 patch cord.
Female to female panel mount, plug and play. The threaded connecting design makes it solderless and no need to damage or interrupt the original wire, so there is no signal degradation.
IP65 class waterproof and dustproof protection make it suitable to be used in harsh industrial or outdoor environments. It is very much ideal for printers, PCs, routers, computer servers, switch boxes, network media players, POE devices...This is a good solution to protecting Ethernet connections that are exposed to the weather.
IMPORTANT: Since the female sockets at both ends have different depths, please cut off the excess part and make the top end of the clip protrudes no more than 5mm.
ATTENTION: Failing to properly seat the rubber seal of the coupler and cut off the excess jack clip will result in a leaky connection. Water will enter not only the connector but also your Ethernet cable. If it is used in corrosive soil and moisture, the shell will be more susceptible to corrosion. Please note that IP65 is not resistant to immersion, so DO NOT IMMERSE the connector in water.

In order to ensure coupling to be waterproof there are a couple of items that you need to complete when you assemble the connector to your cabling. (Thanks to Joe for his contribution)
If you are using the Waterproof coupling to attach to an electrical panel there is a nut threaded onto the Ethernet Female-Female Cable Socket and an included rubber washer. Remove the nut from the Female-Female Cable Socket and slide the assembly into the suitably sized hole of your panel or junction box. Keep the rubber washer on the outside of the hold. Screw the nut over the Female-Female Cable Socket from inside they junction box or panel. Tighten the nut sufficiently to make the rubber washer create a waterproof seal.
